Welcome to kevinfay.com. You might be asking yourself, why did someone named Kevin Fay buy a domain and make a website for himself. I am not a particularly interesting person. I do not have lots of insightful things to say.

I am a printer by trade, but I have been doing more and more digital media projects. I decided to rebuild my site for practice with a Joomla! backend. The layout is loosely based on the MultiFlex-2 layout on oswd.org and the header image is from sxc.hu.

I am going to attempt to keep the site up-to-date, which was an issue with the old site. I am pretty bad at keeping my family and friends up to date on what is going on in my life, so hopefully this site will allow me to do a better job. I have tried to incorporate some social media into the site because that is the easiest method of currentcy now-a-days.

Renaming NHL Trophies

There has been some discussion lately about renaming the NHL Trophies. The feeling is that the trophies names are outdated, and younger fans would have a better time relating to them if they were named after more recent players. Ridiculous.

My Favorite Part of Christmas

This is a little lame, but my favorite part of Christmas is the music.

I am a big believer in fate. I think that things happen for a reason. One of the biggest examples of this, in my life, happened in high school. If it wasn't for a scheduling snafu, my life would have gone in a completely different direction.
